An Empirical Study of the Translation Competence of Non-English Majors Based on PACTE Model

摘要培养学生的翻译能力是翻译教学的核心任务和目标。本文以PACTE翻译能力模式为框架,结合非英语专业学生翻译测试样本进行实证研究,根据学生的翻译能力状况提出相应的教学策略,旨在提高翻译教学质量。 The cultivation of non-English majors＇ translation competence is the core task and aim for translation teaching. On the basis of PACTE model and samples of non-English majors＇ translation test given,this paper put forward some teaching strategies according to the students＇ translation competence,in order to improve the quality of translation teaching.
