Wu Baokang is the founder and pioneer of China＇s archival science and archival education, his archival thought evolved from documentary archives to technological archives, from entity management to LIA information management, from taking archives utilization as the key link to taking the exploitation of information resources as the center, from paying attention to investigation and compilation to initiative services, from historical scientific thought and experience and a strong auxiliary discipline to archival disciplinary system. This evolution benefited from his methodology, deep cultural foundation, broad academic perspective, rich work personality.
