Discussion on the Effect of Capital Spatialization

资本空间化是指资本占有了某空间和资本生产了一定的空间。资本的增殖性、流动性、扩张性充分地在说明资本的目的就是获得最大化的利润,为了达到这一目的,必须要不断地扩大空间,因此资本的空间化是资本发展的必然结果。资本空间化能够促进生产力的发展,推动世界连成一个整体,推动文明的前进。但资本空间化也带来了消极的影响如对生态环境的污染、对落后发展中国家的掠夺,经济危机在全世界的蔓延,以及使人陷入到发展危机之中等等。而作为发展中国家的中国要积极面对挑战,推动空间正义的到来。

Capital spatialization is the occupation of certain space by capital and the capital has also produced a certain space. The proliferation, flow and expansion of capital has sufficiently revealed that capital aims at obtaining the profit maximization. To realize such goal, space expansion has to proceed continuously, thus capital spatialization is the inevitable result of capital development. Capital spatialization can promote the development of productive forces, push the integration of world and the progress of civilization. However, capital spatialization has also produced certain negative effects, such as the environmental pollution, the plunder to backward developing countries, and the spread of economic crisis in the world, which are preventing human from development. As a developing country, China should actively face the challenge, and push the arrival of space justice.
