A design and processing method of WEDM based on picture was presented, it comprehensive used the AlgoLab Photo Vector, Yanxiu tools, CAXA WEDM software to real- ize the graphic design efficiently. The method was applied to the design and manufacture of the painting, calligraphy etc. without size, also could popularize in school EDM innova- tion practice. It could develop students＇ design thinking and spatial imagination, stimulate their learning interest and innovation potential, and improve their practice and comprehen- sive application ability.
