With the increasing of people＇ s living quality, the requirements for new residential area landscape design is more and more. This paper, taking Shanghai Greenbelt Wutong Courtyard landscape greening projects as an example, discussed the design concept, common methods and practical application of new residential area landscape in Shanghai area in hopes of providing the related reference for new residential area landscape design.
