合唱音乐会，记忆中，已有很多年没有亲临现场去听了。记忆中最深的是在1980年代，那是美国杨百翰大学合唱团来沪的演出，男男女女的个子差不多都有一米八左右，一个个金发碧眼地“插”在舞台上，高大健美，特别显眼。
The Shanghai Opera House chorus' s most recent concert was a great showcase of the ensemble's versatility.The first half featured a variety of Chinese classics,from the popular song Descendants of the Dragon(by Hou Dejian) and a setting of The River Flows East(to poetry by Su Shi)to excerpts from Xian Xinghai's Tellow River Cantata and folk song arrangements from Northern Shaanxi and Xinjiang.The second half featured the Chinese premiere of Cherubini's Requiem.
