摘要
目的研究关注不同键盘布局(全键盘、T9键盘)、不同按键面板(虚拟、实体)以及不同任务材料(有意义文本、二字词语、无意义文本)对于用户使用智能手机输入汉字的效率和可用性评价的影响。方法共46名大学生参与了实验室研究。结果按键面板类型、任务材料类型对输入速度的主效应和交互作用显著,键盘布局和按键面板类型对可用性评价的交互作用显著。结论虚拟按键输入速度高于实体按键,输入速度随着材料意义性的增加而增加,实体虚拟T9键盘可用性最高。未来研究可以考虑基于字形的输入方法,对不同汉字输入技术进行更加全面详细的对比。
Objective The present study investigated the effects of different keyboard layouts ( qwerty & T9 ), panel types (virtual touch & real touch), and text material types on speed and usability evaluation in Chinese text en- try performance on smart phones. Methods 46 college students participated in the performance test. Results Panel type, text material type and the interaction between these two variables were significant factors on text entry speed, and the interaction between keyboard layout and panel type were found to affect the usability evaluation significantly. Conclusion Entry speed on virtual touch panel is faster than that on real panel; Speeds increased with the increase of meaningfulness of the materials. Virtual touch panel in T9 keyboard layout got the best usability among four condi- tions. Further study could conduct a detailed comparison investigation between different Chinese text entry methods considering character shape based entry technology.
