弘扬传统文化,必须坚持以马克思主义为指导,正确认识民族传统文化的当代价值,传统文化既有精华也有糟粕,要秉持客观的态度,对二者加以区分;当下要大力弘扬博大精深的优秀传统文化,也必须防止封建文化侵染社会主义文化。中国共产党领导中国人民在伟大的革命斗争中孕育了光荣的革命传统文化,这既是对中华民族精神的传承和发扬,也促进了新时期时代精神的生成和塑造,丰富了社会主义文化内涵。

To uphold traditional Chinese cultures,we shall adhere to the guidance of Marxism,affirm the contemporary values embedded in traditional Chinese cultures.Iraditional cultures come with national essence as well as leudalistic and obsolete gross.Hence,we shall uphold a critical and unbiased attitude to distinguishing essence from gross,uphold and publicize the profoundness and broadness of refined traditional cultures,and prevent the infiltration of feudalistic cultures into socialist ones.Glorious revolutionary cultural traditions bred in the course of great revolutions and fights under the leadership of the CPC not only inherit and develop Chinese national spirits,but also promote the birth and shape of times spirits at new stage and enrich the contents of socialist cultures.
