Misunderstanding and misuse of statistical indicators in medical papers

摘要 针对目前医学论文中常用统计指标使用不规范的问题,查阅了医学科学专著和全国名词委公布的科技名词,从医学专业角度举例分析医学论文中常用统计指标,如"率"和"比"、"发病率"和"患病率"、"死亡率"和"病死率"的误解误用,并指出其正确用法。 At present, the use of sci-tech terms is often not standard in medical papers. Aiming at the existing problems,we query the monographs of medical and sci-tech terms published by China National Committee for Terms in Sciences and Technologies.Also,we analyze the nonstandard use of several commonly used statistical indicators in medical papers( such as "rate " and"constituent ratio","incidence"and "prevalence","mortality rate"and "case fatality rate") by examples from a professionally medical point of view and point out their correct formulations.
