The united front work in universities is not only an important component of our Party＇s united front work,but also an essential part of Party＇s construction work in universities.Under new circumstances,it is particularly crucial to play the role of the united front work in universities in the aspects of winning popular support and gathering more strength.Due to some objective reasons in newly-established universities,the united front work faces various internal difficulties including its late beginning,its weak foundation,its low number of grass-roots organizations in democratic parties and its small scale,which need ground-breaking solutions.In order to realize the effective promotion of the united front work in newly-established universities,the correct analysis of the situation,the good use of policies,the active initiative,the strengthened innovation,and the breakthroughs in key areas are required.
