摘要
自16世纪起,英国步入向现代社会转型的关键时期,在贸易立国思想影响下,商业成为社会经济的核心,商人也从社会的边缘走向中心位置。但总体上看,商人的教育还没有得到社会足够的重视,家庭仍然是施教的主体。在商业迅猛发展与变革而公共金融体制缺场和滞后的背景下,商人的家庭教育呈现出"德业并举、以德为重"的特征,以培养孩子对金融脆弱性的感知教育为宗旨。这对造就重信守诺、勤勉节俭、理智谨慎的高素质商人起到了积极的作用。
Since the sixteenth century, the Great Britain entered into a critical period of transition to the modem society. Under the influence of the idea of emerging as a trading power, commerce gradually became the core of the economic sector, and merchants gradually rose from the edge of society to the center stage. However, generally speaking, insufficient attention was paid to merchants ’ education, and family shouldered the responsibility of teaching. Under the background of the rapid development and change of commerce on the one hand, and the lack and lag of public financial system on the other hand family education of merchants demonstrated the feature of focusing on moral education and skill education simultaneously, while emphasizing the moral aspect, with the goal of fostering children's awareness of financial fragility, which, overall, played a positive role in training high-quality merchants to be honest, trustworthy, diligent, frugal, sensible, and prudent.
