参量阵扬声器音频动态范围控制的FPGA实现

摘要 音频动态范围控制作为一种重要的音频信号处理方式,一直被广泛应用于扬声器音质的提升。对于声音重放动态范围较小的参量阵扬声器,动态范围控制系统的应用显得尤为重要。提出了一种以DSP builder为主要开发工具,基于现场可编程门阵列平台实现音频动态范围控制的方法,并解决了在硬件平台上进行对数和指数运算等复杂运算的问题。为弥补传统音频动态范围控制算法在解决参量阵扬声器系统噪声问题上的局限性,引入静音检测模块,抑制了高频噪声。该系统的应用极大地提升了参量阵扬声器的音质。 As an important method of audio signal processing, audio dynamic range control has always been widely used to improve the sound quality of loudspeakers. Since the dynamic range of sounds reproduced by parametric loudspeakers is comparatively small, the application of dynamic range control system appears to be vitally important. This paper proposes a method of audio dynamic range control algorithm implementation based on field programmable gate array by using DSP build- er as the main development tool, and solves the problems of complex operations such as logarithm and exponent based on hardware platform. In order to remedy the limitation of classic audio dynamic range control algorithm solving the problem of parametric loudspeaker system noises, this paper introduces a voice activity detection module which suppresses high fre- quency noises. The application of the system significantly improves the sound quality of parametric loudspeaker.
