Article describes the types and characteristics of piping support and hanger in petrochemical plant. The design and calculation method of rigid support hanger, which is the most commonly used in pipe support hanger, is expounded. Determine the material, design temperature, allowable stress and load assessment of rigid support hanger. And also summed up some general principles of rigid support hanger design.
