杀灭与中和:中西医治疗癌症的差异

Kill or neutralize——The differences between western and Chinese medicine in treating cancers

从哲学文化源头入手,比较中西医治疗癌症模式的差异,对两种不同的思维进行反思,以期加深对其内涵的认识,为肿瘤治疗的临床决策提供参考。研究认为:两种治疗癌症模式的差异可以概括为"杀灭"与"中和"。前者植根于海洋文化,以征服自然为哲学基础,以完全杀灭癌细胞为目标;后者植根于农耕文化,以天人合一为哲学基础,以调和脏腑、气血、经络为目标。笔者反思认为:西医的"杀灭"思维在临床中具有很大的局限性,是不可能实现的,中医的"中和"思维应该成为未来的主导模式。

Based on the source of philosophy and culture,this paper compared the modes of western and Chinese medicine in treating cancers and reflected on the differences between them,in the hope of deepening the understanding of their connotations and providing reference for clinical decisions.The study suggests that the differences between Chinese and western medicine in treating cancers can be summarized as ＂kill＂ and ＂neutralize＂.Based on ocean culture and the philosophy of conquering nature,the therapeutic goal of western medicine is to completely destroy the cancer cells; Chinese medicine,based on agriculture culture and the philosophy theory that human is an integral part of the nature,aims at harmonizing zang-fu organs,qi and blood,meridians.The mode of western medicine to kill cancer cells completely is very limited and impossible,while the conception of neutralism in Chinese medicine should become a dominant mode of treating cancers in the future.
