政治互动、文化交流与中国OFDI区位选择——来自国事访问和孔子学院的证据

Political Interaction,Cultural Exchange and China's OFDI Location Choice:Evidences from State Visits and the Confucius Institutes

本文以中国2004-2014年对外直接投资的面板数据为样本,从国事访问和孔子学院的视角分别考察了中国对外政治互动和文化交流对我国OFDI的影响。研究结果表明,政治互动和文化交流在增加中国与东道国之间政治互信、减少投资风险方面起到了积极作用,有助于促进中国OFDI的发展;进一步研究发现,政治互动和文化交流对促进中国OFDI的发展具有相互替代的作用,即政治互动能弥补因为文化交流不足对中国OFDI的消极影响,文化交流亦能弥补由于政治互动不足对中国OFDI造成的消极影响。

Sed on the panel data of China＇s OFDI during 2004-2014, this paper investigates how foreign political interac- tion and cultural exchanges affect China＇s OFDI from the perspective of state visits and Confucius institute. The results show that, Political interactions and cultural exchanges have a significant positive effect on China＇s OFDI. Further study indicates that political interaction is of functions of mutual complementation to cultural exchanges in further promoting the development of China＇s OFDI, it means that political interaction can offset the negative influence of insufficient cultural exchanges to China＇s OFDI, and cultural exchanges can offset the negative influence of insufficient nolitical interaction to China＇s OFDI.
