The Progress of Indonesian Industrialization and its Developmental Strategy

印度尼西亚工业的发展自1945年起步,借鉴东亚工业发展模式,发展至今形成了以二三产业为主导的产业结构和以制造业为支柱产业的发展方向。但是近年来印度尼西亚制造业升级缓慢,人力资本储备不足等问题日益突出。本文从印度尼西亚工业化现状和导致工业结构转变的国内需求结构分析入手,进而对印度尼西亚新政府在国内工业化进程中可能存在的发展策略进行预测。

Indonesian industrialization began from 1945, using the way of East Asian industrial development, and it has formed the developmental direction which focused on the secondary and tertiary industry as well as manufacturing industry,and has become the dominant industry. However,recently,the country faces some challenges such as the manufacturing industry falling behind, the lack of human capital, real wages growing above the industry output, and the gradually losing of advantages of cheap labor power that caused the results of the economic growth declining. This article starts from the analysis of current situation of Indonesian industrialization and the domestic demands that leads to the transformation of industrial structure to predict development measures that could be possibly exited during the process of domestic industrialization dominated by the new government of Indonesia.
