王艮的学说是"人学",特别注重弘扬人的主体精神。王艮的主体精神具体表现在万物之本的主体地位、人定胜天的主导意识、不受约束的主体自由三个方面,其理论以"以身为本""大人造命""率由心性"为支撑,形成了包蕴积极用世、好为人师、当量而出、否定听命、人定胜天、大人造命、反对执意、反对束缚、反对灭欲等主张的理论体系。

WANG Gen＇s theory is ＂human＂, with a special focus on promoting the body of the human spirit. WANG Gen＇s subject spirit is mainly embodied in three aspects： the subject position of things, the dominant consciousness of man conquering nature, the main body of unbridled freedom. Its theory is supported by the following factors and a theoretical system is formed involving the following key standpoints： actively using the equivalent of the teachers of the world and the equivalent of the teachers of the world, being opposed to the theoretical system , advocating against the idea of restraining and rejecting the idea of destroying it.
