白蜡脊虎天牛雌雄成虫特征差异

Characteristic differences of male and female adults of Xylotrechus rufilius( Bates,1884)

前期调查三台核桃Juglans sigillata‘Santai’虫害表明,白蜡脊虎天牛Xylotrechus rufilius(Bates,1884)是目前云南省三台核桃的主要蛀干天牛之一。采用形态对比研究法和扫面电镜技术观察白蜡脊虎天牛雌雄成虫外部形态特征和感器超微结构发现:雌虫前胸背板宽与长的比例要大于雄虫,雌虫腹部末端未被鞘翅覆盖的部分明显大于雄虫。白蜡脊虎天牛触角上有4类8种类型的感器,分别是2种毛型感器、1种刺形感器、4种锥形感器和1种耳形感器;其中锥形感器I型和耳形感器仅分布于雌虫触角,锥形感器IV型仅分布于雄虫触角。另外,后足跗节的毛型感器簇形态和前跗节锥形感器雌雄均存在明显差异。

As our previous pest survey of Juglans sigillata ＇ Santai＇ in Yunnan province,Xylotrechus ru- filius （Bates, 1884） was one of main borer pests of J. sigillata. The external morphological characteristics and ultrastructure of antennae and tarsi were observed with optical microscope and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The results showed that the female pronotum was wider than that of the male, and uncover part of female abdomen apex was longer than that of male. Four types of sensilla consisting of eight sub-types of sensilla were found on the antennae of both male and female adults. They were two kinds of sensilla trichodeas, one kind of sensilla chaetica, four kinds of sensilla basiconicas, one kind of sensilla auricillica. Notably, one kind of sensilla basiconica （ sub-type I） and sensilla auricillica were distributed only on the female antennae. Another kind of sensilla basiconca （ sub-type IV） was distributed only on the male antennae. In addition, there were significant differences in sensilla clusters of both male and female tarsi.
