中国青年党是继国民党、共产党而起的一股重要政治力量,有"第三大党"之谓,在民国政治史上曾扮演了相当重要的角色。全面抗战时期,青年党尤为活跃。抗战伊始,青年党即提出"抗战必胜论",同时很早即提出"以时间之长短,决战争之胜负"的长期抗战论及全国动员的全面抗战论。青年党主张在国民党及国民政府领导下进行抗日,坚决主张拥蒋抗日。青年党充分意识到抗战对建立独立统一的主权国家及培育具有爱国、民主、科学观念的现代国民的作用,主张以抗战促建国。另外,青年党积极呼吁、参加民主宪政运动,主张以民主宪政来推动抗战取得最终胜利。

The Chinese Youth Party （CYP）, which is known as the Third Biggest Party in China, played an very important role in the history of the Republic of China. It was particularly active during the Anti-Japenese War. At the beginning of the war, the CYP put forward the the Theory of Certain Victory of the Anti-Japenese War. At the same time, it also advocated the Theory of Long-term and Comprehensive Anti-Japenese War. It strongly advocated Supporting Chiang kai-shek＇s leadership of the Anti-Japanese War. Furthermore, it advocated the promotion of the founding of constitutional state through the war of the resistance against Japen. In the view of the leaders of the CYP, the Anti-Japanese War has played an important role in the establishment of an independent and unified sovereign state and the cultivation of a modern citizen with patriotism, democracy and scientific ideas. In addition, the CYP take an active part in the constitutional movement, and advocated constitutionalism to promote the final victory of the Anti-Japenese War.
