Treatise on Febrile Disease was far-reaching influence on later generations in diagnosis and prescriptions by seeking ancient precepts as well as gathering experience from various prescriptions extensively. A lot of difficult points in this book and"Jiangxi"was an example. It recorded using Jiangxi therapy as before mentioned,Jiangxi therapy used as I use Cassia Twig before, etc. Many doctors thought deeply on this method and hold various opinions on it. However, not mention how to apply this method. Through repeating study and interpretation of original book and textual research of ancient literatures, the authors interpreted Jiangxi therapy as rest and recuperate around goal. Application would be accelerating or stopping using prescriptions. When the goal was not achieved, doctors would increase the dosage of prescriptions, the number of medication and shorten the time of taking medicine, which all mean Jiang. When the goal was achieved, doctors would stop medication as soon as possible, which means Xi. As recorded by Treatise on Febrile Disease,Jiangxi therapy is very critic and widely applied in all practices, all prescription relies on Jiangxi. Therefore,Jiangxi is applicable to all the clinical prescriptions or therapies. It is as well verified to be very important and helpful in my clinical study and researches.
