Discussion on the performance based design of the safety evacuation of large shopping mall was carried out. Taking the safety evacuation design of a large shopping mall as an example, the safety evacuation performance based design plan was analyzed. The target is to fulfill the safety evacuation design going beyond standard requirement, improve the overall fire safety of large shop ping mall, and broaden ideas for safety evacuation performance based design.
