The diversified assessment policy as a better system to choose talents from Gaokao candidates, takes into consideration both the candidates’ daily performance and their individual character, both the procedure and the result of the tests, and the combined efforts of the candidates, colleges and society. Actually, it is not only a great change in the reform process but also an echo to the reform of basic education to transform from a grades-oriented unitary assessment standard to a diversified evaluation policy.
