当代复音词单音词化与语文辞书编纂问题

The Trend of Disyllabic Words Turning into Monosyllabic and Its Influence on General-purpose Dictionary Compilation

当代汉语中存在着复音词单音词化的现象,其结果是产生新的单音词,或是产生单音词的新义。复音词单音词化的内在动因是追求简捷,而追新求异是外在动因。这种词汇演变现象对语文辞书的编纂也提出了相应的要求。目前辞书编纂的问题,主要是释义语言的缺失、重复和立目立项的滞后。

In modern Chinese,there is a trend for disyllabic words to turn into monosyllabic ones,and the result is the birth of new monosyllabic words or new meanings added to the old monosyllabic words. This trend is due either to conciseness in expression or to uniqueness. It sets new demands for general-purpose dictionary compilation. The main problems with current dictionaries are the lack of the defining language,repetition in entry or meaning item installation,and the lagged institution of entries and meaning items.
