知识溢出、创新与区域经济增长——基于知识产权保护视角的门槛回归分析

从微观视角研究了创意企业的知识溢出对地区经济增长的影响,并立足于创新,阐述了知识溢出、创新与经济增长的关系。首先,构建门槛回归模型,以知识产权保护为门槛变量,分析发现企业自身知识存量和知识溢出在不同知识产权保护水平,对经济增长的促进作用不一致。其次,构建中介效应模型,实证分析创新作为知识溢出促进经济增长的重要中间环节。最后,采用交互项模型,分析在不同知识产权保护水平的情况下,得出企业自身知识存量和知识溢出对创新的影响方向和程度不一致。因此,关于知识溢出和创新促进经济增长,适当和合理的知识产权保护力度,既能保持企业自主研发的积极性,又能鼓励企业间的交流和学习,发生知识溢出,促进经济增长。

In this paper, we adopt the micro perspective to study knowledge spillover effects on regional economic growth, and based on innovation, this paper expounds the relationship between knowledge spillover, innovation and economic growth. Firstly, we build the threshold regression model, taking the protection of intellectual property rights as the threshold variable. The analysis finds that if firms' knowledge stocks and knowledge spillovers are in different level of intellectual property protection, the promoting effect on economic growth are different. Secondly,we build a mediation effect model and make an empirical analysis of innovation as important intermediate link of knowledge spillover to promote economic growth. Lastly, we build the interaction model. Analysis shows that different levels of protection of intellectual property may make firm's knowledge stock and knowledge spillover have different effect on the innovation direction and degree. As consequence, about knowledge spillover and innovation to promote economic growth, we can conclude that appropriate and reasonable protection of intellectual property rights not only can maintain the initiative of independent research and development of enterprises, but also can encourage communication and learning between enterprises, generate knowledge spillover and promote economic growth.
