参数化建模在许多行业中都有着具体的应用,在汽车制造行业、模具设计及机械制造方面应用特别突出,参数化建模技术在设计领域中是一种新的趋势。文章对参数化建模理论和UG二次开发方法做了一些研究,明确地指出要完善参数化设计,选择合适的独立变量重要性这一观点,独立变量的选择为参数化建模能否成功进行的关键因素之一。通过对参数化设计的流程探究,使得参数化建模及UG二次开发方法有了理论上的可行依据,并且对参数化建模设计及UG二次开发方法提出了一些参考。

Parametric modeling has specific applications in many industries especially in automobile manufacturing industry, mold design industry and manufacturing industry. The application of parametric modeling technology is a new trend in the field of design. In this paper, the parametric modeling theory and methods of secondary development of UG are researched, and the view of improving the parametric design and selecting proper independent variables is clearly pointed out and the selection of independent variables is one of the key factors to the success of parametric modeling. By exploring the process of parametric design, the parametric modeling and methods of secondary development of UG are theoretically feasible, and some reference for parametric modeling design and methods of secondary development of UG are put forward.
