The paper describes the structure of single-slide transfer presses and how to design the drive system. The focus is placed on the mathematieal model that calculates the working capability of presses. The method to calculate the working capability of each station is set tup and the mathematical model for calculation of wo,king capacity on each pressure point has been established. Several calculation examples are presented in the paper.
