不同引证时间窗口论文量引关系实证研究——基于论文与期刊视角 被引量:8

Correlation Between Citation Frequency and Usage Count with Different Citation Time Windows——Based on Article and Journal

摘要 [目的/意义]基于论文和期刊视角分析Web of Science(Wo S)数据库中不同引证时间窗口论文使用次数与被引频次之间的关系以及量引背离现象。[方法/过程]收集2013~2015年Wo S数据库收录眼科学领域被引频次TOP10%论文数据,分析文献类型,不同引证时间窗口论文使用次数、被引频次的变化,从论文和期刊视角分析论文被引频次与使用次数的相关性,并对量引背离现象进行分析。[结果/结论]TOP10%论文主要文献类型为Article。随论文被引频次升高,使用次数(180天,U1)、使用次数(2013年至今U2)逐渐升高。被引频次、U2随引证时间窗口增加而升高(均为P<0.05),U1表现相反(均为P<0.05);不同引证时间窗口论文U1、U2和被引频次,以及期刊篇均被引频次和篇均U1、篇均U2均有相关性(均为P<0.05)。少数论文出现量引背离现象。揭示了高影响力论文的主要文献类型,也提示了论文使用与被引之间的共性,共性大小与引文时间窗口有关。引文时间窗口越长,论文总被引频次和总使用次数越高,最近180天内学者们更倾向于使用较新的文献,高使用次数预示着一定时期后的高被引。 [ Purpose/Significance]The aim of this research is to analyze the correlation between usage count and citation frequency of documents with different citation time windows based on article and journal from Web of Science ( WoS ) database and reveal the down- loaded-cited deviation phenomenon. [Method/Process]We collected the topl0% ophthalmology documents in citation frequency and us- age count which were published from 2013 to 2015 in WoS, analyzed the document types and the correlation between citation frequency and usage count with different citation time windows, and revealed the downloaded-cited deviation phenomenon. [ Result/Conclusion] It was found out that of those top 10% ophthalmology documents, "article" was the standard document types; with the increase of citation frequency, usage count U1 ( 180 days) and usage count U2 ( since 2013 ) gradually increased; with the increase of citation time windows, U2 and citation frequency gradually increased ( P 〈0.05 ), while U1 performed contrarily. With same citation time window, there were weak correlation both between U2, U1 and citation frequency and between Journal per-citation frequency and the per-U1, per-U2 ( P 〈0. 05 ). The downloaded-cited deviation phenomenon appeared in the small number of papers not only revealed the main document types of high impact papers, but also suggested the commonality between the usage count and citation frequency. The longer the citation time win- dows, the higher the citation frequency and usage count. Scholars tended to use more new documents in the 180 past days, and the high usage indicated the high citation in a future period.
