“影响因子百分位”与SNIP的跨学科评价效力实证分析

The Effectiveness Analysis of Interdisciplinary Evaluation by Average JIF Percentile and SNIP

[目的/意义]比较JCR新增期刊评价指标影响因子百分位与SNIP的跨学科评价效力。[方法/过程]以SCI收录的4种学科为基础,对学科内和学科间的各期刊影响因子百分位和SNIP做Spearman等级秩相关分析,同时将4种学科的期刊按JCR分区分组,即Q1区组、Q2区组、Q3区组和Q4区组,对各组期刊的影响因子百分位和SNIP分别做Spearman等级秩相关分析。[结果 /结论]影响因子百分位与SNIP在学科内呈显著正相关(均为P=0.000),相关系数平均为0.826。影响因子百分位与SNIP在学科间亦呈显著正相关,相关系数为0.817(P=0.000)。分组比较结果示,在Q1区组、Q2区组和Q4区组影响因子百分位和SNIP均呈显著正相关(均为P<0.05),但在Q3区组,影响因子百分位和SNIP不相关(P=0.185)。使用影响因子百分位与SNIP在学科内及学科间的期刊排序均是一致的;但在跨学科评价中,在影响力较大的一半期刊中,影响因子百分位与SNIP的期刊排序结果一致性更强,在影响力最小的1/4期刊中,影响因子百分位与SNIP的期刊排序结果也一致,在影响力中等偏下的一部分期刊中,影响因子百分位与SNIP的期刊排序没有相关性。

[ Purpose/Significance ] The purpose of this research is to compare the interdisciplinary evaluation by SNIP and new journal e- valuation index of JCR： Average JIF percentile. [ Method/Process] Using 4 disciplines recorded by SCI as the research basis, the Spearman hierarchy correlation analysis for journal impact factors of interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary is carried out. All the journals of 4 disci- plines are divided into zone Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 based on subarea of JCR. Average JIF percentile and SNIP of each area are analyzed by Spearman hierarchy correlation analysis. [ Result/Conclusion] In both interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary scenarios, average JIF percen- tile is significantly and positively correlated with SNIP （ all P =0.000） and the correlation coefficient results are 0.826 and 0. 817 respec- tively. Group comparison results show that average JIF percentile is significantly and positively correlated with SNIP in zone Q1, Q2 and Q4 （ all P 〈0.05 ） ; average JIF percentile is uncorrelated with SNIP in zone Q3 （ P = 0.185）. The order of journal ranked by average JIF percentile is the same as that by SNIP in both interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary. In interdisciplinary, especially for half amount of all journals with higher influence, a stronger consistency exists between the rank results of average JIF percentile and SNIP. In the bottom quarter of all journals with least influence, the rank order of average JIF percentile and SNIP also presents equal result. However, for the journals with low than mediocre level influence, there is no correlation between the order of journals ranked by average JIF percentile and SNIP.
