摘要
词汇是学习语言的基础,是掌握一门语言的重要学习方面,所以词汇教学的重要性不言而喻,对于英语教学来说也同样如此。但是传统的词汇教学方法,大多采用"死记硬背"的方式,没有充分重视词汇教学技巧的运用,认知语言学的发展为词汇教学的创新提供了可行的理论基础。文章从认知语言学的角度,探索了范畴理论和隐喻理论在认知语言学在英语词汇教学中的应用,以利于学生更好地记住英语单词,更喜欢去学习和了解英语词汇。
Vocabulary is the basis of learning language and is important for mastering a language, therefore vocabulary teaching is very important, so does English teaching. But traditional teaching method of vocabulary most adopts the approach of rote memorization, not paying attention to vocabulary teaching skills. The development of cognitive linguistics provides the feasible theoretical basis for the innovation of vocabulary teaching. For the view of cognitive linguistics, this paper discusses the application of category theory and metaphor theory in teaching of English vocabulary, beneficial for students to better memorize vocabularies and love learning and understand English vocabulary.
