英语长期被人们认为仅仅是一种交流工具。但从培养学生核心素养的角度来看,基础教育的英语教育在教学理念上应从"英本主义"转为人的全面发展理念;在教学目标上应从单一语言目标转为"多元目标";在大纲范式上应以语言知识系统为基础设计教学的大纲范式转为以培养学生能力、重在体验的"多元任务大纲"范式;在课程模式上从固定课程模式转为灵活课程模式。
