Orientation of Running Private Universities:Coordinated Development among Scale,Quality,Structure and Benefit

民办高校要健康持续地发展,必须正确处理规模、结构、质量、效益的关系,使四者协调发展。适度的规模是发展的必要前提,规模不够和规模超度,都会影响发展;提升教育质量是持续健康发展的必然要求;社会需求是专业结构调整的指针,专业结构是办学质量的一个重要方面;民办高校必须把社会效益放在首位,坚持经济效益服务服从于社会效益。

To keep healthy and sustainable development,private universities should handle a good relationship among scale,structure,quality and benefit,so that these four can develop coordinately.Moderate scale is the prerequisite for development,insufficient or oversize scale will both affect its development;promotion of teaching quality is a necessity for healthy and sustainable development;social need is like an indicator for adjusting course structure which is an essential aspect in quality;social benefits should be put in the first place,and it’s to be upheld that economic benefits and services subject to social benefits.
