西北联大办学困境之研究

The Managerial Dilemma of Northwest National United University

诞生于抗日战争时期的西北联大,在办学上面临许多困难,比如办学经费缺乏、师资评聘不易、科学研究氛围不浓等。在抗战的大背景下,这些困难在其他学校也有一定的体现,但西北联大由于办学区域的局限性、肩负使命特殊性、党派斗争的复杂性,导致其在办学经费筹措上、图书仪器设备购置上、师资队伍建设上、科学研究等方面更显困难。当然,西北联大校方也想尽办法力图克服这些困难,尽量完成国民政府所赋予的奠基西北高等教育基础的宏远目标,为战时及战后培养了近万名优秀人才,给西北大地留下了扎实的高等教育根基。

Born in the period of Anti-Japanese War, the Northwest National United University （NNUU） was facing many managerial dilemmas such as lack of expenditure, shortage in teaching staff, weakness in research environment, etc. Although the problems encountered were all common dilemmas facing the universities of that time, the situation for NNUU was worse due to the limitations in managerial area, special responsibilities carried and complexity in partisanship. Nevertheless, NNUU tried its best to overcome all those difficulties to fulfill the goal entitled by the government to lay solid foundation for higher education in northwest of China, to nurture mil- lions of talents during and after the wartime, to leave the basis for higher education in Northwest China.
