在东汉众多画像题材的考古材料中,"七女为父复仇"的图像不仅出现在汉画像石中,在东汉壁画墓中也存在。其内容实际上反映了一则不为历代文献所记载,已经消亡千年的"血亲复仇"的孝子故事。

According to the archeological materials of images in Don Han Dynasty, the image of ＂Seven Daughters Revenged for Their Father＂ can be found both in stones of images in Han Dynasty and murals in Dong Han Dynasty tombs. It reflects a story of dutiful daughters who revenged for their father which was not recorded in historical documents and was extinct for thousands of years.
