PE teacher's quality is the key to determining teaching quality . In order to meet the demandsof the society and educational development better, college PE teachers should understand the essence of in-dividual quality correctly. According to the request for quality-oriented education and the need for his/herown development, this article puts forward greater request for upgrading overall qualities such as knowledgelevel, technical level, innovative level, etc., which college PE teachers should possess in the 21st century.
