外语专业本科生在校期间计算机课程设置的探讨

A Study of the Curriculum for Computer Science Course for English Majors

摘要 针对吉林华侨外国语学院“一切为学生成人、成材、成功”的办学理念,本科学生在校四年中,计算机课程如何科学的设置呢?结合教育部高教司颁发的“加强非计算机专业计算机基础教学工作的几点意见”(155号文件),参照对我院在校生、毕业生、用人单位、同类兄弟院校以及专家意见和多年实践经验,我们建立了“一年基础、二年提高、三年达标、四年熟练技巧”方案,随之制定出“基础必修、针对选修、高级单修”实施计划,实现了占用课时少,却达到计算机操作、应用、学生自学能力齐发展,计算机学习四年不断线的效果,给外语专业毕业学生插上了翅膀。 The article discusses how to establish the curriculum for computer science course for English majors, hence making it conform to the school’s guiding philosophy of“All for the students to succeed in life”. Considering the official document NO.155 of the State Ministry of Education, proposals from all sides, and experience of past years, we have started a program of“ 1st year—establish a foundation; 2nd year—im- prove skills; 3rd year—reach a standard; 4th year—enhance the capability”. We have also devised a plan which is in accordance with the program. By so doing, students can save some hours for other subjects. And they can take time to develop their abilities in computer operation and application. Their abilities to study on their own can also be improved. By providing them with a program for continuous study of computer knowl- edge, the students will become more adaptable to the society.
