摘要
英语中的歧义现象,错综复杂,原因众多。其中,无意歧义是语言结构自身矛盾的自然显露,主要有语音,词汇和句法结构引起。本文旨在通过对英语交际教学中出现的无意歧义现象的分析,力求有效地避免在语言交际中由于无意歧义导致的误解。
Ambiguity in English is a phenomenon, which is very complicated for a variety of reasons. Unintentional ambiguity is one that is the natural embodiment of the internal contradictions of language itself, mainly produced by the factors in phonetics, words, and syntactic constructions. The paper’s intention is to analyze the unintentional ambiguity in English communicative teaching, thus to help avoid possible misun-derstanding caused by unintentional ambiguity in communication.
