The Root Cause of the Predicaments of the Interest Articulation of the Vulnerable Group in China

转型时期,我国弱势群体利益表达面临诸如进京上访、群体性事件、以命相搏等非制度化方式的困境,造成这种困境的深层次原因是我国实行的权威体制。这一体制的实行是建立在我国现实情况和历史文化基础之上的,是为实现现代化而作出的必然选择。权威体制所具有的弊端造成了弱势群体利益表达方式的非制度化困境,成为"不得已的代价"。

During the transition period, the interest articulation of vulnerable group faces a series of predicaments of non- institutionalized expression such as appealing to the higher authorities for help, group events and protesting by lives. The reason is the authoritarian regime of our country, which is rooted in the reality, history, culture of our nation and an inevitable choice for the realization of modernization. However, the drawbacks of the regime have caused the predicaments of the vulnerable group＇ s interest articulation and it is the price that has to be paid.
