Research on Embedded Service Mode in Libraries

图书馆嵌入式服务就是将服务阵地从馆员的区域转向用户的地盘,嵌入式馆员在流动变化的工作环境中,以明确的馆员身份与用户面对面交流,为用户提供信息导航并设计个性化方案。通过探讨和分析嵌入式服务模式在国内外的实践案例,对实现途径进行梳理,建立全新的嵌入式运行机制可以从以下几方面着手:一是提高馆员职业技能;二是重组图书馆物理空间;三是调整图书馆评估体系;四是实行弹性工作时间。

Embedded service means a transfer of library service from librarians＇ service area to users＇ area. An embedded librarian is always in a mobile working state for he communicates with users face to face with a clear identity of librarian and provides information channels and makes personalized designs. Through sorting cases home and abroad, we find that to establish a new operation system of embedded service the following paths should be followed： 1. improve the librarians＇ professional skills; 2. rearrange physical space of library; 3. adjust evaluation system of library; 4. establish flexible working system.
