Cohen's View of Productive Powers

柯亨在《卡尔马克思的历史理论——一种辩护》中对生产力这一基础概念进行了清晰的界定。他认为,生产力是生产的能力而并非生产的力量,劳动力是生产能力不应该归入生产力,生产关系不是法律上的所有权关系,同时也重新阐述了生产关系及其首要性命题。

Cohen gives a clear definition about what is Productive powers in the book ＂Karl Marx＇s historical theory-a defense＂.He argues that productivity is the power of production but not the force of production,and that the labor force is production capacity which should not be included in the productive powers,and that the production relations are not legal ownership relations.He also reinterprets the relations of production and productivity of the primacy proposition.
