摘要
发展城乡社会教育是适应中国国情、民情和教育实际而在近代蓬勃发展的一项教育事业。近代城乡社会教育事业具有对策性、公益性、多样性、灵活性等特点。在社会教育行政的推动下,城乡社会教育机构、社会教育团体、社会教育活动渐次展开,各级各类学校兼办社会教育逐渐发展。近代发展城乡社会教育的经验表明,发展城乡社会教育事业有助于"开启民智",奠定国民素质基础;有助于改良社会,促进社会环境建设;有助于"得民心",促进教育公平;有助于弥补城乡家庭教育和学校教育的不足,促进教育均衡发展。城乡社会教育事业的发展是新时期适应国情,通过教育公平促进社会正义的重要举措。
Developing the urban-rural social education is a modern booming cause of education,which is to adapt to the national condition,the public condition and the education situation in China.This cause possesses the features of countermeasures,public welfare,diversity and flexibility etc.Driven by the social education administration,social education activities are gradually carried out by the urban-rural social education institutions,the social education organizations,as well as all levels of schools.The experience of modern urban-rural social education development shows that this cause can help "enlighten the wisdom of the people" and establish the foundation of the national quality;help improve society and promote social environment construction;help " gain popular support" and promote the education justice;help make up for the deficiency of urban-rural family education and school education and promote education balanced development.The development of urban-rural social education is an important action of promoting social justice through education equity.
