济慈的诗歌理论的宗旨在于极力强调想象的巨大作用,并在此基础上提出一个后来的论家无不注意的“消极的才能”之说。其诗歌创作理论的要点就在于能用想象去激情拥抱世间万物,去感受体验、浮想联翩。虽然济慈“命运乖戾”,英年早逝,但他作为一位杰出的浪漫诗人,身上体现出了许多浪漫主义的突出特点。他所强调的美,不仅限于感性上,而且产生于对现实世界的痛苦的沉思中。其诗《希腊古瓮颂》是“消极的才能”的完美的注脚,反映了济慈诗论的美学魅力。
With explicit letter analyais, this paper traces the contents and characteristics of Keats' s 'Negative Capability' . Keats' s poetic theory lies in highlighting the great effect of imagination and, based on this, puts forward 'Negative Capability'to which no later poet will not pay attention. The key point in his poetry is to meet the things on the earth with emotional imagination to experience and to see in mind' s eye. Though Keats was not so lucky and died very young, as a remarkable poet he symbolizes many outstanding features of romanticism . The beauty he stresses is not only limited in perceptual knowledge but emerges from meditation on grieves in the realistic world. This paper probes the perfect footnote-Ode on a Grecian Urn and thus shows the aesthetic charm of Keats's poetical theory.
