Strategy of Differential Development among Periodicals in Colleges and Universities

高校学报有别于一般学术性期刊,不仅具有一般期刊传播学术研究成果的使命,还具有一些特殊的功能。随着学术环境和信息技术的发展,传统高校学报特有的功能似乎失去了其存在的基础,学报的价值及存在的必要性也因此受到广泛的质疑。在激烈的竞争和有限的生存空间中,关于高校学报的出路问题也引发了前所未有的大讨论。基于学报的资源禀赋,学报可以分为4类,即综合性大学主办的学报、专业性很强的院校学报、行业高校学报以及一些地方院校和职业院校的学报。在目前的学报管理体制下,高校学报应根据其类型制定差异化的发展策略。

Different from common academic periodicals, periodicals in universities have both the missions of common periodicals and other special functions. Along with the development of academic situations and information technology, the special functions of periodicals in universities seem to be deprived of their glories, and their value and existence are widely doubted. The future of periodieal in universities is also a heated topic for the fierce competition and limited space. Based on their resources, periodicals in universities can be divided into four categories, namely, periodical in comprehensive universities, periodicals in professional colleges, periodicals in industrial universities, and periodicals in other local colleges and vocational schools. Therefore, we should conduct strategy of differential development for periodicals in colleges and universities.
