中国历史上有哲学“言意之辨”、文学“言意之辨”、艺术“言意之辨”和佛学“言意之辨” ,它们本属不同领域的研究 ,却在“言意之辨”这一命题下取得了一种同构关系。研究这种同构关系 ,有助于构建中国特色的艺术哲学。

This paper explored the famous thought of “discrimination between word and idea” on philosophy, literature, arts and Buddhism; it found the media function of imagery that connecting word and idea, and enabling thinkers to create and represent their profound wisdorn.
