摘要
本文探索廉价金属Cu^(1+)/Cu^(2+)盐催化醛醇直接氧化合成酯的反应,其中以CuCl(10 mol%)为催化剂,过氧化叔丁醇(TBHP)为氧化剂,反应温度为80℃,反应24h后,对甲氧基苯甲酸甲酯的产率可达90%。同时实验表明取代基的电子效应对反应没有显著的影响,但不同的醇与对甲氧基苯甲醛反应时,醇的空间位阻越大,产率越低。
A cheaper metal Cu^1+/Cu^2+ salts catalyzed direct oxidative esterification of aldehydes with alcohols was explored for the synthesis of versatile esters. By using CuCl as a catalyst and tert--hydroper- oxide as an oxidant, the reaction temperature is 80℃, the methyl 4--methoxybenzoate was obtained in 90%,after reaction 24 h. Experiments results showed that the electronic effect of substituted groups have no significant effect on reaction, but the more sterically hindered alcohols was associated with the lower yield, when different alcohols react with 4--methoxy benzaldehyde.
