Establish the Foreign Literature Teaching and Studying System of China

随着经济全球化的到来,在外国文学研究与教学中坚持中国文化的主体意识,加速对20世纪外国文学的百年反思与总结已成为当务之急。同时建立与完善外国文学研究与教学的中国体系,积极介入国际理论争鸣,发出中国人自己的声音,由被动接受外国文学对中国之影响,而走向中国文学在全世界的传播与推广,已成为中国外国文学研究的一项重要任务。

With the coming of economic globalization, it is urgent for us not only to insist on our subject of Chinese culture in the foreign literature teaching and studying, but also to accelerate and sum up it in the 20th century. Meanwhile we should take active part in some international academic debates, and sound our own voice. And it is important for us to turn the tendency hat we are passively received the influence by the foreign literature to spread Chinese literature to the world.
