《世说新语·雅量》篇是魏晋士人雅量风貌的集中体现。雅量是魏晋士人崇尚的人格美,是"内圣外王"的精神境界与优雅从容的行为举止的完美结合。随着东晋玄学对名教与自然二元对立的调和,二者实现协调共处,在士人秉持仕隐兼顾、身名双修的价值理念的前提下,东晋士人实现儒道兼修,也更具有雅量风貌。其中,"风流宰相"谢安便是魏晋士人具有雅量人格美的集中体现。
