In the era of big data, the ideological anti political education of colleges and universities welcomes the new chances. The new chances are as follows ： the dominant role of the college students and the predictability are improved and the teaching effects can be commented precisely as well as the enriching of the carrier. But it also encounters severe challenges. It is increasingly difficuh to store and deal with the data. The mainstream ideology education has been impacted and the ability of statistics analysis for the teach- ers of ideological anti political education faces the test. Besides, the privacy security of the students is under threat. Therefore, the eol- leges should conform to the characteristies of the times, establish big data platform, occupy the new position, strength the team buiht- ing, improve the ability of statistics analysis, perfect the system, improve data security protection technology and protect the privacy se- curity of the students.
