Textual Research on Application of the Drug Properties of Notopterygium Root and Its Effect

根据历代本草典籍对羌活药性、功用认识及其复方在临床中的应用可以看出羌活具有祛风止痛的作用,临床多用于外感所致头身关节疼痛、风湿痹痛等,配伍川芎、独活等药物可增强其疗效。现代研究多认为羌活具有解热消炎镇痛、抗血小板聚集及抗血栓作用,同时具有促进脑血流的作用,临床上主要用于消炎镇痛解热、抗血栓形成、促进脑血流循环、改善肠胃消化吸收功能及治疗妇科疾病等方面。

According to the knowledge of the drug properties and effects of Notopterygium Root and the application of it in clinics,Notopterygium Root functions to dispel Wind and stop pain. In clinics,it has been used mostly in treatment of the pains in all parts of human body due to exogenous disease. Its medical function can be strengthened when being used with Ligusticum wallichii and Heracleum. Modern researches have suggested that Notopterygium Root has an antipyretic anti-inflammatory analgesic,platelet aggregation and anti-thrombotic effect,along side with the role of promoting cerebral blood flow. In clinics it is used mainly for antiinflammatory analgesic antipyretic,anti-thrombosis,promote cerebral circulation,improve gastrointestinal digestion absorption function and treatment of gynecological diseases and so on.
