Zeng Sheng-hai's Experience of Treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

曾升海教授认为慢性萎缩性胃炎病初多因脾胃虚弱所致,脾胃升降失常是发病关键,脾胃虚弱是发病的内因。曾升海教授将慢性萎缩性胃炎辨证分为:脾胃虚弱证,肝胃不和证,胃阴不足证,气滞湿阻证,湿浊中阻证。曾升海教授辨证治疗慢性萎缩性胃炎特点:调气为本,清热为辅,注重化瘀;组方平和,味多不杂,注重变通;察言观色,因人制宜,注重调护。

Professor Zeng Sheng-hai thinks that early chronic atrophic gastritis （CAG） is due to weakness of spleen and stomach is the key to the pathogenesis of the disease,the weakness of the spleen and stomach is the internal cause of the disease. He di- vides CAG into the following 5 types ： syndrome of weakness of spleen and stomach, syndrome of incoordination between the liver and the stomach, syndrome of insufficient stomach yin, syndrome of qi sluggishness and damp retention, and syndrome of pathogen- ic damp in middle energizer. The features of his treatment based on syndrome differentiation are as follows：Major regulating qi supplemented by clearing heat, focusing on removing blood stasis;Mild prescription with many types but without disorder, paying attention to proper modification; Reading sh＇s face, treatment chosen according to the variability of an individual,and paying atten- tion to nursing.
