Study of Nationalism of Qiu Jin

秋瑾是一位政治人物、革命人士,也是一位诗人、作家,不论史学,还是文学,她在学术研究上都有相当高的关注度。然而,有关秋瑾的研究,学术界大都集中于她的婚姻、革命思想等议题;尽管她的革命思想含有强烈的民族意识,但有关她的民族意识的研究,一直被忽略。笔者尝试探讨她的民族意识,以补学术研究上的缺漏。

Qiu Jin is a political figure, a revolutionary, a poetess and a writer. She has been highly regar-ded in her academic study of either history or literature. However, the studies of Qiu Jin are mostly about her marriage and her revolutionary ideas. Though her revolutionary ideas are of strong national conscious- ness, related researches have been neglected. This paper tries to explore her national consciousness in the hope of filling the gap in academic studies of Qiu Jin.
